The difference is that they were written by different companies, are internally entirely different pieces of software,
and that MS DOS 6.0 is known to work on a flash disk in my machine whereas PD DOS 7 is not. This is not a question of whether one OS is better than another, it is simply a matter of reducing variables in a diagnosis.
