yes, the original 360 caddy (black plastic, right?) need the 4 pins to tell
the drive to be a master..
not sure about all details since none of this is in front of me..

a generic caddy will probably work better...

360 should take up to the 6gig limitation.. and up to a 17mm thick HDD..
