Via chips with sound will make XP and Win2000 crash a
lot. Do you have frequent crashes? You can try turning
off the sound in the BIOS and using a Soundblaster or
Turtle Beach card to get good sound but it may still
crash unless you change the motherboard and get rid of
the Via chipset.
