When you did FDISK, you didn't tell it to use FAT32 (large hard drive).
Either use FDISK to make the an extended partition and logical drive on the
other 2 gig, or use Parition Magic to make the whole thing 4 gig

Subject: [Thinkpad] 560z can't see all of hard drive
I just installed Windows 98 on my 560z. ( Thats to the list for the advice
so far) The problem is I have a 4 gb hard drive but after installing my
software when I open right click my computer, right click C, then choose
properties it says hard drive capacity is 1.99 gb total. Anyone know whats
going on? I used the Disk Manager software from the IBM site before
installing
OS.
