[Thinkpad] 760E Memory Problem

I have a friends 760E that I'm trying to upgrade the memory in. He has 48MB
installed (a 32 and a 16MB so-dimm). I'm trying to install a 64MB stick but
it won't see the full 64 megs. The IBM website says it should accept them
and I've tried 2 different ones. With the 64 and 32MB sticks it's only
seeing 80MB. Any ideas...I'm pretty sure the latest BIOS is installed.
