Good Grief!

If they provide anyting like EZ Serve's ability to repair things,
this is a *great* buy.

I have a 1480i which my daughter is using, which has a dim
display and the hinges are a little wobbly. It does sound like
$169 would fix that. Wow. Wow indeed....

One of the people in my dept had a Comaq laptop which developed
a problem, and the Best Buy people thought it was the system
board, which would be $600 to replace. At $169 I think this is an
amazing deal.

I'm wondering why they're offering this, though. It doesn't make
a lot of sense to me--people with units that they know will be
the most likely to need help would be the most likely to subscribe
to this, so where is the profit for IBM? Time to go find and read all
the fine print...
