Subject: [Thinkpad] TP600E power up problem
Have a TP600E. When AC plug is inserted, and with a known
good battery, the light comes on yellow, then turns to
green. When the power switch is pushed, the light goes out
and nothing happens.
If only the battery is installed, there's no light and,
again, nothing happens if the power switch is pushed.
Unit has a known good CMOS battery, and the AC adapter is
known to be "good."
Previous history is unknown.
Suggestions?
Possible defects to check?
