After dropping my laptop my hd has a few sectors that not even the Hitachi
utility can fix, so to be safe I bought a new 8gb travelstar on Ebay.
The question I have, is would it be prudent to directly image the original
drive onto the new one using Ghost or Imagecast, or should I just do a
windows reinstall?
Second n00b question: Is there any freeware disk cloning software out
there, or can I use xcopy and then copy the mbr?
