[Thinkpad] How to take apart a 760EL?

I have a 760 EL thinkpad, and the power connector is broken. I have
downloaded the HMM and tried to follow the diagrams to take the case apart,
but I simply can't find the screws they show, and the diagrams are not as
descriptive as they need to be. Can someone with some experience tell me
how to do it? Please? :)
