[Thinkpad] [TP560X] Trackpoint click button problem

Today the left click button on my 560X has become much less responsive, it
takes a very hard press (or a wiggling press on the flat part) to get it to
work. I opened the machine up with the idea of swapping the buttons, but
(a) I can't see any way to swap the lower (sub-PCB) part of the switch, (b)
there isn't much (if any) visible difference between the plastic parts of
the two buttons (I know that a broken bit on the pressing part is a common
cause of this kind of problem), and (c) I'm afraid to remove these bits
anyway - the HMM gives no clue as to how they are attached and I can't see
well in there, do they just pop off?

I have a little-used 560 which I could also use for any swaps, if someone
can help with advice on removing the relevant parts.

BTW, the button works much better with the machine's frame removed, though I
can't see what if anything is misaligned or pressing wrong.

Thanks for any help.

- David R.
