Yesterday, together with a serviceman at a local computer shop I inserted a
40GB drive (Fujitsu MHT-2040AT) into my i-Series - and it works fine! For
those who are interested, my BIOS version is V1.00R (I haven't tried newer
version due to the lack of a floppy drive).
