T23 with NIC and modem has a slot that you get to about the same way as on
the A20. The modem is the same as was in the A20 and the NIC is a mini
card that coexists with the modem (it's NOT a combo card).
I'd sold the modem out of the A20 when I put a NIC in there and bought a
PCMCIA modem (which works better anyhow), so when I sold the A20 I pulled
the modem out of the T23 and put it into the A20. Everyone is happy.
