Well, another problem is that I was running LINUX exclusively on that
machine (and at work we also only use LINUX) and the BIOS update is only
available as a DOS executable (no, it can't be unzipped under LINUX). I
might have been able to execute it in the LINUX DOS emulator and make a
bootable CD from the resulting disk image, but that wasn't worth the
trouble.
