This is indeed a high pitched noise, but it did not disappear after the BIOS
update.
The reason may be that the fix concerns BIOS versions whose names begin with
1R, whereas my BIOS version begins with 1N. So I needed another BIOS update,
namely 1NET10WW, in which this fix is not reported.
