I just noticed recently that my Thinkpad is not recognizing my RAM upgrade I put in. My T30 2366-B2U came with 256mb standard and I got an extra stick of 256 from crucial. When I first installed this ram, the thinkpad did recognize all 512MB but as of late I just noticed it doesn't anymore. The RAM is fine as I have swapped position with the original IBM stick (infineon i think) and that still resulted in 256, then I booted it up with just 256 with both sticks. So basically I deduce that the second RAM slot isnt working? Has anyone seen this happen before, or should I call up IBM?
