[Thinkpad] 7200RPM Travelstar

Hitachi now makes a Travelstar laptop drive with 7200RPM.
I was stunned. Here are some prices for the 60GB(!) drive:

The E7K60 has an 8MB cache, uses about 2.5W while in use
and has a continuous data transfer rate of about 60MB/s.
It's "always on" and rated for 50% lifetime duty cycle.

The 7K60 is basically the same but apparently not warranted
for such heavy usage.

Looks like they are still behind Toshiba in the area of
cache size though. Some Toshiba drives have 16MB cache.
