the X3 base will support two batteries..
one main battery UB..
but not both at the same time..
it will also use the extended battery on the bottom of the
X30 series..
the main reason for an X31 over an X30 is the banias cpu and
chipset..
for me, i prefer the T40p.. i like the thin formfactor and
inbuilt CD..
especially the G3U model with the 7200RPM drive..
which is about 80% faster than the 40gig 5400RPM drive..
