Hi Nick,

Go get the manuals here:

http://www.pc.ibm.com/support

Put in your ThinkPad's model (mine's 2645-5FU)
In Document Type, select "Online publications"
Click TP 600X User's Reference.

If you want to take it apart, get the Hardware Maintenance Manual.

There's lots of good stuff in there, but to get into the BIOS,
hold F1 while turning on the machine.
