I realize that this is probably brusing your ego but the point was to
determine if the statement was actually true but I figured you would have
picked that up from the "swing a dead cat" comment. The overestimation of
acumen was clearly on my part. Apologies.

Anyway, James *I am* interested to know if it produces the same error code.
After all the hypothesis amongst my TP geek friends was that the FSB was
causing this issue as it would cause the on-board memory to run out of spec.
This would fall in-line with the fact that some 600E's won't run the higher
speed CPU's at all. Not to mention that the error generated is a memory
error anyway.

However if this wasn't a 450 then there's something different at work here.
I wonder what?
