Yep, it's long been my opinion that the cause of the 600 upgrade failures was
the onboard 66MHz memory.

I'll check the MMC-2 module, it's still around somewhere, along with a 450MHz
module. It's possible I'm confusing the two, but I seem to recall trying both of
them at the time as well as a 550 and 600.
