[Thinkpad] 600E-600X problem

I have spare HD for my 600X but the (second-hand) TP came with a 600E rather
than 600X recovery disk. I restored the 600E CD to the HD going into the
600X but there are some problems; I need help.

1-PCI communications device (I assume my PC Card Ethernet card) isn't
recognized when I insert it, even though slot is powered. Still shows
"empty". In hardware device manager, I see Code 28-can't find driver.
Where can I get this driver? It failed to find it during successive
reboots after first bringing up the system. Basically I can't go online
until I fix this problem. (Now using original HD rather than spare I'd
hoped to bring into service as backup.)

2-Crystal Sound Fusion PCI Audio Accelerator -- this also failed to
install. Where can I get driver?

I'd also welcome any other ideas or gotchas to watch.

Anyone have a 600X recovery CD he no longer needs?

Thanks for all help.

Jeffrey Race
