The PCI Communications device is generally the Lucent MiniPCI modem. A PC
card is NOT a PCI Communications device.
The drivers are available on the IBM web site
I don't recall if the PCMCIA slots are different between a 600E and a 600X,
but look for an .INF supplemt file on the site (PCMCIA.INF)
If it exists, rename the existing file, copy the new one into the same
location, and delete the slots, then do a refresh. Should work
