[Thinkpad] Thinpad 560x VS 560Z?

Hello All
I'm going to be getting a backup for my trusty 560x.
The vendor has a few 560x s and a bunch of 560z s and is willing to give
me either an x or a z for the same price.
What are the advantages of a 560z?
I think it might have a higher maximum RAM but aside from that is there
any other advantage?
Will the 560z work with my port replicator (#11J8998 FRU 119000)?

I'd like more RAM but I'd also like to be able to swap parts, how much
of the 560z will interchange with the 560x?

All you power users will be amused to hear that the backup computer is
going to be fitted with a SimpleTech 800 Mb solid state IDE drive.
It's not much space but I think I can make it work.
My Win98 Lite installation is about 575 MB and I can use a PC card for data.
I think it will be worthwhile, it'll be quiet and the battery life
should be much better.

If anyone else is interested the E-bay vendor offered to sell me more of
the solid state drives for $49 each.
