        Something is wrong with your APM/ACPI settings or set-up. For some
reason, your pc card slots aren't being checked for hardware when the
system wakes up so you're losing access to the cards in them. Check
your power management settings in control panel, and in System check
for any exclamation marks around these. I'd also check the BIOS and
make sure "plug and play" is enabled.
