Thanks for replying Emanuel,

I've checked the power settings in control panel and also run the TP
configuration program and checked both the power management settings and the
card slot settings there but there doesn't seem to be any specific setting
for power management of the slots in either of those locations.

If I hold down the F1 key and turn on the 600X it brings up the Easy Config
menu which seems to be a subset of the full BIOS. There's provision for
changing the boot order etc but I don't see any indication of Plug 'n pray
being enabled or not.
