Hello,

I am going on a train trip and was thinking of getting a small laptop. I know some people that have the
Libretto but I want something Blue 8->.

I really like to get something the size of a HP 200 LX but I need a 386 or higher processor to run an
extended dos program. So the computer must be an Intel platform and not WinCE.

The 240 series looks interesting and I wonder how people like them. Then there is the X series as well.
I got the impression that the X series has no serial ports. The 701c is too thick. The 240x seems to
have more than enough horsepower.

I have the Z50 and think that form factor is okay. It would be nice if I can get a smaller form factor.

The requirements are:
386 or Higher, really like a 486, Pentium would be a plus
"Real" Serial Port - This is important for the application. No USB converters as this is real DOS.
800x600 screen that is 10 inch or smaller. I may be able to go up to 12 inch. I could consider 640x400.
Weight is not really a factor.
A smaller than standard keyboard is no problem.

The problem is I can read the specs but until I see one I have problems determining if it is
the right machine. I would like to get people's opinions.

73 Eric
