This is my only peeve with my T30 too.
Reception is poorer than an Orinoco Gold, and Access Connections was clearly
never
tested with standby / hibernation. It usually works, half the time takes
ages, and
sometimes requires a reset / two profile changes to get to work.
This is on W2K - anyone have any comments on whether it works better on XP?

locations within my home. The signal level of the T23 is rarely at 100% and
from what I can see it is very erratic. The signal level changes from
50-60-75% constantly (I wonder if this is a power saving side effect, but
I'm quite sure I have it on max performance with no power saving features
enabled). I have problems copying large files across Windows shares as I'll
lose connection and regain before the transfer is complete.

I went from a T20 with a Cabletron 802.11b PC card that had quite good
reception to a T30 with the built-in Intel WiFi and also see significant
signal strength issues. I don't understand it. You would think with an
antenna built into the case they could get better reception than with a
relatively small PC card, but apparently not.
I also find I generally have to turn the built-in WiFi off/on one or
more times when I unhibernate going to/from home/work to get it fully
functional. It doesn't seem to wake up reliably on its own.
