If I understand correctly which machine you are using, it is not Speedstep enabled, and as a result, you are running at the LOWER Speedstep speed, and that is all you will get.

I recently posted this and no response came. I put a 1ghz chip in my a20m to find out that 700 is the max, any ideas on how to make the chip work at 1ghz? I have the latest bios. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also, what dvd decoder card (if any) would be suggested to improve performance and battery life.
