What was the original processor in your A20m? The 500MHz and 550MHz machines are
not speedstep enabled, only the 600MHz and 700MHz machines are.
Sounds like you had a 500 or 550 machine, which will only go to 700MHz.

If history is any guide, I think it safe to say that we all tend to use the
Margi DVD-to-Go card or one of it's clones in our older PII systems. But I can't
see how it would be of any real benefit on your PIII system.
