I am thinking of putting Linux on my machine, so I'm glad to hear you
are happy with it. I understand my security will be better with the
linux OS, that I can open up "Windows" virtual machines on the Linux
system when I need such, and that there are very good word processor
and spreadsheet programs that can be saved to be readable by one of the
Microsoft Office cast of characters if necessary. I am a Mac user and
just bought a used Thinkpad for an application that needs the PC style
operating system. But I haven't had time to figured out how to make the
change.
