IBM isn't going to have the recovery cd, so you might try ebay for that.

Drivers, etc should be downloaded from IBM's website. Just type in your
machines model number at the "Quick Path" location, and get your
downloadable files.

I'm wondering, does your laptop have a MS license sticker affixed? If so,
that would be enough to make Windows 95 legal, as if anyone at MS really
cared.

IBM may have shipped that model with Lotus Smartsuite; I doubt it had Office
97 preloaded.
