[Thinkpad] X Series again

I remember what I was going to ask before.

Some of the X31's IBM has offered come with PC2100 memory and some come
with PC2700 memory, even though the machines have the same chipset.

Has anyone done benchmarks to ensure there is a real memory bandwidth
improvement when using PC2700 memory?

I'm guessing (hoping) all X31's will use PC2700 at full speed (if not
mixed with another speed). If you think differently, let me know.

Thanks,
Chris
