I'm not sure which Thinkpads natively support extended desktops anymore as the
last systems that IBM specifically stated had native multiple monitor support
were the 600X and 770Z.

I've used the Margi Display-to-Go card to resolve this problem when giving
Powerpoint presentations with my projector on all of my systems since I lost
native support on my venerable 600E by upgrading to W2K.

Used it under W2K on my 600X, T21, T22, T23 and T30 without any problems.
Haven't tried it on my T40 yet.
