There are two ways to go about this...

A higher-end RF modulator will usually do resolutions of at least
1024x768... that's one option. If you can't drop below 800x600, it
sounds like you're using Win XP. Right-click your desktop and click on
properties (or find some way to get into Display Properties), click
Settings, then the Advanced button. Click the Adapter tab, then click
List All Modes.

You should be able to select 640x480 from there.

Subject: [Thinkpad] Tvout Help for Thinkpad T20

I haven't written to this newsgroup in a while, but mostly because I
neither
needed help nor could I be of help. What I need today is help getting my
TV
out to work fullscreen. I bought a 4 pin S-video cable and connected it
to
my RF modulator. I can get the video to show on my TV but the TV itself
is
at a resolution of 640x480 but my desktop resolution doesn't go below
800x600. Is there any way to tweak the settings to change my desktop
resolution to 640x480 (thus squeezing it all onto the TV) or is there
any
way to crunch a higher rez picture into the TV fully? Please help. My
videos
look annoying with a blue bar at the top and it's frustrating to do
presentations with. Thanks for the help.
