by the time you buy that new thinkpad in 6 months, the price of the 1gig
parts will have fallen..
so it is moot, now, which type you buy..
ibm is still selling the 1gig part at $750 (as of tuesday) and i am selling
them at $550 each or two at $525 each..
and i expect prices to fall more and faster..
the older memory parts are going up..
like SDram and so forth..
