I don't know about Windows XP. But I was trying to follow some instructions
I found on the web for using a remote.

The way it's written seems to convey that I can't randomly pretend to
follow along, but should follow exactly to achieve what it seems to
intend. It points me to my BIOS. But my 600x BIOS does not contain any
reference to IRDA interface.
Does anyone know how we can try following such instructions?
