I have the same set as Dominique. Just received the drive, and the increase in
performance (compared to 4200 rpm) is stunning !
I am less happy with the noise. Also it is impossible to hear the heads
movement, the rotation itself has a low pitch noise, not loud but quite audible.
It is not the same noise as plain old 4200 rpm drives, more like if the fan was
on full speed all the time.

Dominique, can you confirm, or should I have the drive replaced ?

Yes, why not? I've got one in my X22, which is both older and smaller than
your T30. Works just fine.
