[Thinkpad] What's up with the Thinkpad lineup?

   Is it me, or is IBM a little behind with their lineup.

   It appears the A Series is being dumped for the G series. Yet the G series
doesn't have a screen that can handle anything higher then 1024x768. Any ideas
as to what is going on?

   I'm looking for a 15 inch laptop with a 2ghz CPU or higher and a resolution
of higher then 1024x768.

   Also, any ideas when the Thinkpad lineup will have more then 2 memory
slots?
