Heh. I can think of all sorts of reasons to want more than 2G in a
laptop. For me, this is my main machine for everything I do. A three
spindle machine means that I have a lot of flexability, and there have
been times when I've crashed into my 1G limit on my A31p. 2G is
better, but given how small DIMMs are, having four slots really would
be reasonable. I've helped out on applications which actually use 4G
of ram. Note that IBM keeps raising the ability of ThinkPads, and
people keep buying them...
