[Thinkpad] T40 Mini Dock II reverse stereo issue

Hi all,

I've just noticed a very interesting "feature" - the line in and line out on the
mini dock II I have for my T40 seems to be reverse stereo - can anyone shed any
light on whether this is hardware or software related, and if the latter offer
any solutions?
