if you deal on ebay and you do NOT know who the seller or buyer is, you
will need a VERY VERY long spoon..

trust NOT most escrow web sites..
when i put up a new thinkpad on ebay i get, in addition to those who want
to pay with a CC and have me ship to indonesia, many who offer to buy only
through a phony escrow web site..

i have had my photos stolen and used on phony auctions in just the last
week..
especially one on the UK ebay site..

you can trust ibm and several other ebay sellers..
but remember the long spoon thing.. :-)
