Does anyone have an opinion on the ones from www.valence.com
(N-Charge) and www.electrovaya.com (PowerPad)? The pricing seems to
be similar.
Valence has two models: 5AH for U$199 and 10AH for U$299. The
former is available at Future Shop and Best Buy for C$299.
Interestingly it says up to 3.5hr on the website and 5hr on the
box.
Electrovaya has three models: 5.5AH for U$249, 8AH for U$299, and
11Ah for U$449.
My problem is that I'd like to get something by Saturday in Ottawa,
or by Tuesday afternoon in Montreal. Other than the overpriced
lowest-powered one at FS and BB, I don't think I can get one fast
enough. Any advice on a source will also be appreciated.
In any case, does anyone have an opinion of one over the other? I
have an IBM ThinkPad 600, if that's significant (stock internal
battery is either 3.2AH or 3.6AH, but all my batteries are totally
dead).
Thanks!
