Yes they are desktop drives .
Re ATA 100 / 133........
No real diff re ATA 66 .
and a little re ATA 33
If you have the Bios support ..it's a very nice deal .
If you don't, then it can get a LOT tricker, as even with Driver Overlay software that it comes with;
..a number of Bios will not let the computer boot.
( We are talking some AMD K6 , Pentium 1 and a few < Pentium 2 -333 era boards )
The other grumble is that warranty is only 1 year .
