I'm trying to kill the Windows Welcome program. I uncheck the box in MSCONFIG Startup tab and click Apply, OK to exit.
However next time I boot MSCONFIG shows Welcome checked again. Why is this?
I can delete the executable but I'd rather not have it called and missing.
How does one remove the actual text entries for undesired programs?
