Hello all,
I'm looking for a new hard drive for my other (non solid-state) 560x.
It's not so much a question of space (although I would like more than
4Gb) as it is noise. The stock drive is so loud (especially compared to
the 800 Mb flash card) that I tend to use the solid-state 560 despite
it's minimal OS. I'm thinking of going to Win 2K (litePC install),
anyone else got 2K on a 560?

ZipZoomFly shows a 40GNX 40 Gb for $152 and mentions a 3 year warrantee
from date of manufacture but it's back ordered.

Accupc shows a 40GNX 20 Gb for $105 and only mentions a 30 day return
policy. <http://www.accupc.com/itemDetail.jsp?pid=DHNBH20G54>

Questions:
>Would the Accupc drive still have the 3 year warentee from Hitachi?
>Would the 20Gb drive require less power than the 40 Gb (both have 2
platters and are 5400 rpm)?
>Any other recomendation for drive or supplier?

Thanks for all the help.

Who knows he'd forget a HD password and has precious little of value on
the disk anyway......
technology is the answer, what was the question?
