Greetings:

If you feel comfortable with modifying your registry entries you can try the
following:

1). Get into the registry, i.e. type in regedit from your run box
2). Locate the following (Double Click on each item between the slash):

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

(HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)

In the right pane there will be a lot of keys (entries) one of which is

Welcome

the value should be something like:

C:\Windows\Welcome.exe /R

Highlight the welcome key with your mouse (single left click); right click
until you have a pull down menu of which one choice is delete. Select that,
reboot, and Welcome screen no more!

Tried it myself, Works Fine!
