[Thinkpad] Problem with KVM and Dock II - Anyone have this working?

I just hooked my ThinkPad T40p up to a new Dock II and am having
difficulty getting the keyboard to work properly through a KVM. The
mouse is working, but the keyboard does not. I have to use the ThinkPad
 keyboard instead.

The full-sized keyboard has lights on for scroll lock, num lock, and
caps lock. The lights are all flickering a bit, so I think there is
something wrong with the setup. When I switch away from the ThinkPad to
 another system the lights stop flickering and everything is fine.

I have tried disabling the ultranav pointing devices in the bios, as I
have seen mentioned in other posts regarding KVM oddities.
Unfortunately this did not have any effect at all.

Has anyone been successful getting a KVM to work with a ThinkPad hooked
to a Dock II? What is the secret?
