Thanks so much for the info - the damn keyboard beep was driving me *nuts*
(almost as nutty as the damn fan noise on the T40 i've got - I don't suppose
you've got a fix for that too, eh?? <fingers crossed> :-). Option number 3
worked like a charm! :-)
