I don't find I can run any programs. The system just starts at the
boot screen and stays there. And the only part printed last was:

Fixed Disk 0
  HixEGBI-D[23As-12b

  CDROM name
Press <Del> to resume

It's possible. But from what I'm following, there is enough indication
to suggest that it should be currently plugged in the correct way. And
the power cable, the red line is from the desktop, and connects with
red line on adaptor, sound right?

There may also be jumper pins on the small HD. I was worried I should
try to fiddle with them, so I called a store. But it doesn't seem like
I can locate anything that can connect them.
