Hi Nigel.
Yes. I tried to install W2K on a 365XD.
When I did that, it had the original configuration, being P120, 40MB and
1.08GB.
It wasn't much worth though.
W2K ate up everything on the 1.08GB HD.
Had to compress the entire drive which made it much worse for the P120 CPU.
40MB of RAM.....well.
Anyway......it did actually worked, but I went back to Windows NT 4, to get
more smooth operation.
Now my 365XD has 72MB of RAM and a 4GB HD.
Actually, Nigel..I will give it another try with W2K this weekend, and
report back.
Somewhere on this planet....someone has a 128 MB EDO SO-DIMM module ;-)
I think that a 8.4GB HD is the max for this machine, if one doesn't wanna
play around with Diskmanager.
Regards from Denmark, Nigel....and good luck with the project.
I'll keep my fingers crossed !
Brian.
